I’m currently listening to R. Kelly’s I Believe. Last time his most famous song itu I Believe I Can Fly, OST Space Jam tu bah. Ini Mr. I Believe ni sekarang muncul with another ‘I BELIEVE’… I guess after this mesti ada lagi tu ‘I BELIEVE IN MY DREAM’. Wakakakka~ Kidding ah. I’d say that this song is quite uplifting, inspiring, encouraging… Um… What else ah… Sia rasa itu saja lah. Even though it’s actually a tribute song for Barrack Obama (Oh yeah, I love him more than Bush). There’s something about him yang buat me terpikat… No! Not his eyes! His speech… His vision… and of course, his voice! Buahahahhaha~ Nah nah… Start sudah kah sia ini. Heheheheh~ Anyway, I’d say that I BELIEVE THAT WE NEED TO CHANGE, sometimes… Well… Mimanglah most of us are afraid with the ‘CHANGE’… Taboo taboo… It’s because of our feel of insecuritiness. What am I going to change? Hmmm… NEXT SONG, please… I’ll tell you later about that once I found the song yang ngam dengan apa yang sia mo ‘CHANGE’ – If only you’re someone who never missed out what’s going on in my blog… Bukan bilang ko busybody, well… I do appreciate people who visit and read my sot sot sot ramblings here despite of my broken grammar (you can see how weak my English is especially when it comes to VOCABULARY – my konpesion sudah ni! XD)…

Molten Lava Chocolate

Novie has made me really really really really TIGIRAN… I don’t care lah if she’s a human being… She has made me wanna TALAN HIDUP HIDUP. Adakah YM YM saja turus bilang Molten Lava Chocolcate Cake! Cis cis cis! Inda apa… Nanti tiba-tiba sia turus fly pigi KL, baru dia tau… Inda pa… I think I’ve found the recipe over the Internet and I’ll bake one this week or probably next week as I need to sort of things lu by this week. She asked me apa flavour yang paling sia suka… Well… I rank my favourite flavours as follows:

#1 – Yam (Kajen-kajen sia bilang ini urang tua punya flavour. Bagi sia, yam lah yang paling inda manis and that’s why mostly orang tua suka makan. Anyway, banyak khasiat bah Yam.)

#2 – Chocolate (Ngam untuk kalau time kesejukan and rasa mo kasi tambah berat badan. I’d prefer DARK CHOCOLATE sebab it’s good for skin… Anti-oxidant bah!)

#3 – Durian (I’m a Durian craze but due to health reason… I need to limit and if possible to restrain myself from indulging with the flavour of Durian. Kasian kan?)

#4 – Vanilla (I’d stick to unsweetened vanilla… Yang inda banyak gula… In other words, inda terlampau manis. Kalau inda, I’ll end up paning-paning lalat…)

#5 – Lemon (Sadap bah ni especially after a friend purposedly bagi sia makan Lemon Pie the other day… SADAP!)

I’d go for more melancholic (kununlah) or something which is more relaxed… Gila eh! Jiwang karat sudah ni… Muahahahaha!

Sia Punya Kisah 2008 (Part 1)

Sia punya kisah 2008 inda banyak… Tapi kalau sia kasi hurai dalam perkataan, mimang banyak lah… Heheheheheh~

January 2008 – Dapat masuk UMS untuk ambil Master in Business Administration. Was hoping that sia terjumpa kawan-kawan lama sekali tinguk butul-butul sia terjumpa kawan-kawan lama. Everything seemed macam OK sajalah kunun. Azam sia kunun mo lupakan semua kisah silam yang melukakan dan menyedihkan. Maka, sia guna pakai balik azam sia tahun-tahun dulu – Happy Happy Joy Joy… Maksudnya, apa saja yang sakit atau pedih sia rasa (painfulness), sia simpan dalam hati saja dan kasi tapuk with senyuman. Apa macam sakit kana tabak pisau di hati atau sakit bila urang yang dipercayai turus kasi bucur rahsia sampai hampir semua urang tau pun, sia senyum saja. Sebab macam dulu sia pigang prinsip – Otak tiada controller, Mulut tiada Zip… We cannot control others’ mind and we surely cannot shut or even stop them from talking whatever they wished for. Sampai juga bah apa tu urang cakap pigi telinga sia tapi sia buat bodoh macam inda pernah masuk skulah saja sebab once sia bersuara mimang habis keluar laser, silap-silap turus tu urang inda mo tinguk sia lagi sampai-sampai… Atau paling teruk, sia pula yang diumpat di balakang kalau sia start bersuara laser.. In short, don’t simply judge me if you don’t know me PERSONALLY because I can reveal my true self when necessary or in dire situation… Anyway, sia punya azam 2008 was to remain single for a year! Sot kan?

February 2008 – No Valentine’s Day… I spent all my days working on my group assignments… Tu hal KE pun sia inda paduli sudah…

March 2008 – 1st camping with the church youth… Sebelum ini sia camping ikut sekolah… Well, ada sia dingar urang bilang sia ni TIDAK PERNAH camping. Thank you for reminding me about that but the person who was talking this sh** mimang inda kenal sia sebab I was an active camper back then cuma I wasn’t interested with ini Church punya camping sebab sia suka hang out with my school friends. Plus, sia ada lebih banyak responsibilities di sekolah back then… So, kalau bukan atas sebab Pr. Heary insisted me to bring the youths pigi tu camping, manalah sia paduli tu youths sebab sia masih anggap inda syok camping di Dantai. But, it turned out to be really enjoyable walaupun mimang hitam legam lah… Terbakar bah! Maksudnya, I love camping tapi dalam diam-diam… Bukan sia inda pernah pigi camping and janlah bilang sia ni indatau satu hal pun pasal camping.

April 2008 – April’s Fool… Sia inda kena ahh… Sia kasi kena urang saja… Muahahahahaha~ Time ini sia paling sibuk sebab sia ada banyak assignments. Lagipun, final exam kunun inda lama lagi. Time ini juga start sudah banyak halangan dan rintangan… Sia ingat tu semua sebab inilah time sia banyak kali menangis dan minta advice dari urang lain… Sia butul-butul stressed out sebab life is a bunch of thorns and thistles. Bukan sinang… Bukang sinang… Mo hidup dan jalani kehidupan yang kita harap mimang bukan sinang… Sia hampir-hampir jatuh tersungkur dan inda terasa yang God masih ada…

May 2008 – Kaamatan! Sia kena bagi tugas ambil gambar di KDCA along with Mark@KaDus, Pirut, Gogds, etc. Tapi sia inda dapat datang sebab sia pigi Adventurer punya camping. Tulung-tulung tu aunties saja bah. Plus, ada kawan bawa sia mo pigi sana yang mana sia inda berapa interested mo pigi. Sia baru habis final exam kan… So, mimang ada panat-panat lah. Ada banyak hal yang terjadi tapi lebih bagus sia inda kasi mention di sini sebab bagi sia semua sudah berlalu. Moral of the story – Kada momoudut nung kiwaro nodi koupusan… Not good for health… Hahahahaha…

June 2008 – Sia cuti dan sia indatau apa sia buat… Dalam rumah saja… Plus, ada kelas driving kunun… Ada lah tu a few SMSes from the same guy yang jiwang karat tapi sia buat-buat inda layan… I’m a real DEVIL for sure. Target sia tatap dalam genggaman… Mana mo kasi lapas ooo… Single for 1 year… Lagipun banyak masalah melanda… Inda ada masa mo fikir benda-benda lain… Perasaan sendiri pun sia malas mo layan apatah lagi diri sendiri.

Kita sambung lagi selepas ini… Ko rasa panas? Ko terlupa pasang air-cond laitu… Kakkakakk~ Sia main-main saja ahh… Kada kotogod…

“Inilah peluang anda untuk menunjukkan bakat terpendam. Kami mencari seorang penyanyi yang mempunyai pakej sebagai entertainer dan marketable sebagai artis rakaman…” demikianlah ungkapan Mark mengulas mengenai pertandingan nyanyian yang bakal dilangsungkan oleh Kadus Entertainment pada tahun hadapan.

Pertandingan ini dijadualkan bermula pada bulan Februari 2009 sehingga April 2009 yang akan dijalankan di Pusakag Café, Donggongon, Penampang. Menurut Mark, objektif pertandingan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan minat dan mencungkil bakat-bakat baru dalam bidang seni suara yang berpotensi untuk diketengahkan ke pertandingan yang lebih berprestij serta mencari penyanyi berbakat yang mempunyai pakej sebagai entertainer dan marketable sebagai artis rakaman.

Pertandingan yang dikenali sebagai “KE NEXT TOP ENTERTAINER” ini bakal menghidangkan hadiah yang dikira agak lumayan. “Pihak penganjur berjaya mendapatkan tajaan tiket kapal terbang pergi balik ke Australia untuk tiga pemenang utama sebagai hadiah sampingan sumbangan Air Borneo, sebuah syarikat penerbangan yang masih baru lagi yang bakal melancarkan penerbangan mereka pada awal tahun hadapan. Selain daripada hadiah berupa wang tunai serta piala, pemenang juga bakal mendapat voucher pembelian daripada Body Shop. Saya rasa hadiah-hadiah ini sudah cukup lumayan…” ujar Mark selaku pengerusi penganjur pertandingan.

Bagi mereka yang berminat untuk menyertai pertandingan ini, beberapa garis panduan serta syarat kelayakan perlu dipatuhi terlebih dahulu. “Kami ingin mencari seorang penyanyi yang dikira fresh dan mempunyai pakej lengkap yang diharap mampu kami ketengahkan ke dalam industri muzik tempatan mahupun kebangsaan..” jelas Mark yang mengharapkan pemenang itu nanti mampu mewarnai industri muzik tempatan.

Borang Penyertaan KE Next Top Entertainer

Menurut Mark, jika anda berumur antara 17 dan 35 tahun pada 1 Januari 2009, andalah orang yang mereka cari. Walau bagaimanapun, mereka yang pernah memenangi pertandingan di peringkat Negeri atau lebih tinggi tidak layak menyertai pertandingan ini. Pertandingan ini juga terbuka kepada mereka yang belum pernah merakamkan album serta belum pernah mendapat airtime di mana-mana stesen radio. Dan yang paling penting, ujar Mark lagi, mereka mestilah tidak terikat dengan apa-apa perjanjian dengan mana-mana syarikat rakaman, sama ada secara lisan atau bertulis. Itu antara syarat-syarat sekiranya anda ingin mengikuti pertandingan ini.

Seperti kebanyakan pertandingan nyanyian yang lain, menurut Mark, pertandingan ini adalah secara solo sahaja. Para peserta dikehendaki menyanyi dua (2) buah lagu iaitu lagu pertama mestilah dalam bahasa Kadazandusun, manakala lagu kedua pula mestilah dalam bahasa Melayu atau Inggeris sahaja. Acara saringan akan dijalankan sebanyak 2 kali sebulan, iaitu dalam bulan Februari dan Mac 2009. Penganjur akan menampilkan lapan (8) orang finalis di Grand Final pada bulan April 2009 nanti.

“Pihak penganjur telah menetapkan 30hb Januari 2009 sebagai tarikh akhir penerimaan borang penyertaan. Namun para peserta yang berminat untuk mengikuti pertandingan ini dinasihatkan untuk menghantar borang penyertaan mereka seawal yang boleh kerana penyertaan adalah dihadkan kepada 50 orang sahaja. Jika pihak penganjur menerima lebih borang penyertaan sebelum 30hb Januari 2009, maka kami akan mengambil peserta berdasarkan First Come First Serve basis. Maka nasihat saya kepada semua, hantarlah borang penyertaan anda secepat yang mungkin….” jelas Mark yang menjangkakan sambutan yang amat menggalakkan dalam pertandingan ini nanti.

“Pertandingan ini mungkin menjadi titik permulaan bagi mereka yang ingin mencipta nama sebagai penyanyi. Siapalah tahu suatu hari nanti, mereka akan lebih dikenali ramai. Jadi nasihat saya kepada yang berminat, rebutlah peluang ini untuk mengetengahkan bakat anda kepada masyarakat di luar sana. Hanya dengan yuran penyertaan sebanyak RM50.00 sahaja, ia mungkin mampu mengubah nasib anda…” jelas Mark, seorang yang bertanggungjawab dalam mewujudkan laman portal Kadus Entertainment lebih daripada 3 tahun yang lalu.

Sebagai rekod, objektif laman web Kadus Entertainment ataupun lebih dikenali sebagai KE ini adalah untuk menjadi platform kepada para peminat, penyokong industri muzik Kadazandusun, penggiat muzik Kadazandusun termasuk artis dan pemuzik, bertukar-tukar pendapat mengenai industri hiburan di Sabah ini melalui internet. KE berharap agar segala pandangan dan kritikan bernas yang diutarakan oleh ahli-ahlinya melalui laman web Kadus Entertainment dapat memberi idea kepada para penggiat seni di Sabah, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan industri muzik Kadazandusun untuk meningkatkan lagi kualiti produk mereka.

A Message For Adventist Youths

Dear Adventist Youths,

I happened to turned on the radio and heard how Facebook was used to get in-touch with criminals about their court date. The judges and the authorities stated that people respond better on Facebook than calling them through their phones.

Like books, radio, television, internet and Facebook, Friendster too is a tool in spreading a message. Why can it be a message about Jesus? Jesus stated that if you deny the Father before men, He will deny you before His father.

What upsets me the most is what many of the Adventist youths are doing with their own Friendster page? Yes, Friendster is for you personally. However, isn’t it true that Friendster is used to share to others a little more of you that others may have not seen? There are millions of Friendster users that have not known about Christ yet. Are you going to keep silent of the word of God? Are you going to sit still in front of your computer and alert people of how you dislike this person, and that idea, and the fun you’ve spent with friends and disregard, perhaps, one of your friend who has no knowledge of Christ ending up knowing how your malicious, or frivolity, or even your levity egoistic idea that are revealed through Friendster? Do not be influenced by others. Use this chance to proclaim your God, testify about His love, share a testimony of what He has done to you through the notes application, and maybe share a text that can inspire others.

I read an advertisement that said something like this: “If you’re reading this, than there’s a great chance that others are also reading this. Please call ###-#### to post your Ad” I strongly feel that Friendster is something like that, it’s like an advertisement of your own life. You can definitely advertise your personal life on Friendster, and also interchangeably share Christ so that others may see what Christ have done to you. Isn’t it possible? I believe so.

Hasten God’s second coming my friends. Let anyone that spent hours on Friendster, instead of the Bible, to read your testimony and be blessed. Also remember this; if they are criticizing you’re way of testifying God, know that they are certainly criticizing God.

Imagine this, you have the chance to bring hundreds of souls to Christ through the people that you’ve added from Friendster, yet, you choose to keep silent. What can a bright flashlight be if it’s hidden behind the thread of your pocket? How can your pizza taste like pizza when you restricted the amount of cheese that it should have? Shout the message on top of the mountain if you need to, but wouldn’t it be pointless if you’re screaming it to rocks and trees? My friend, God is giving you ways to share His message to others. Are you going to just sit there and talk more about yourself? Or is it time to make Friendster as a tool to introduce Christ?

Ever heard of Korean female group macam Brown Eyed Girls, Kara (bukan kara yang bergantung atas pokok tu), Wonder Girls, etc? They are quite famous right now with their catchy and well nice songs… *I’m a lil’ bit bias right now…* Choose Wonder Girls instead of the other girls macam si Kara (I don’t know why Cuzzie Naz likes the song so much sampai dia hafal ni lirik semua…)… Inilah gajinya bergaul with the kajen majen yang baru in their high school… Macam sia pula balik to my 10 years ago punya umur (Macam menyesal ni sebab sia dulu manada dapat enjoy macam diorang, yang sia ingat benda-benda yang Cikgu suruh buat saja)… Every single song yang diorang recommend actually masuk dalam my playlist… Frankly, I don’t even know what’s my fave song at the moment… Semua pun mesti diorang yang recommend… I should say Tangkayu banyak manyak sebab they kasitau mana lagu2 yang best mo dingar… At least I won’t have to listen to the same old buruk lagu of mine (like those Oldies lah semua)… Nantilah I bought them McFlurry Oreo lagi… Turus inda lagi tegur si Jack yang sana-sana kerja tu… No wonder macam sia ada perasaan like ada urang yang sia kenal saja dalam tu McD. I thought because of my cousin and her hubby di dalam McD, rupanya ada lagi bah… Si Jack lah bah pula… I mean, si YaN punya koupusan… Heheheheh~ Sekali tadi si YaN sms… Punyalah sia malu… Jack, if you happen to read this… Siou siou siou sebab ko depan2 sia pun, sia inda kenal ni… Nantilah sia lawat ko lagi di sana… Wahahahahahahaha~ Sarangheee sarangheee… Sarang Burunggggggggg~

Adventist Youth Carolers 2008

Ada kawan-kawan tanya what I’ve been doing this week sampai inda attend tu KE meeting. Minta maaf banyak-banyak sebab I’m currently busy escort tu church youth pigi rumah-rumah untuk caroling ni. We’ve been taking pics from every houses yang siorang lawat then the pics will be presented during the church’s homecoming program. (^_^)V

I’ve been thinking, considering (what else ah?) about this matter lately… The probabilities I can make are:

Probability 1: If I accept the task, then I have to serve… Committed and have to face what ahead of me.

Probability 2: If I don’t accept the task, I may hurt those who are expecting me to do the job. Well, of course, some might be happy if I just quit being a leader (well, I’d be happy to know who’s that person… Just to kill my curiosity mah~). I don’t mind if she/he asked me to do so… I don’t mind because he/she may take my place mah~. Aku mimang jahat kalau sudah sampai tahap jahat…

Probability 3: Whether I accept or not, the thing is I still have to do the job. I may quit anytime but I may turn down some people and of course do enlighten some who doesn’t quite like my style.

Probability 4: —–buat kerja sendiri saja——

My cousin, Novie, is working there… Well, at least she leads a great life there… Dapat discount makanan… Nasib inda manis lah… Sadap tu Mangonana… Should try their Volcano Chocolate (served with Vanilla ice-cream lagi). The Apple Pie oso sadapa wor… Kobihis sia balik… Novie oso bagi me tapau cakes… SADAP!!!!!

The Burden is Lifted Up

I went to the church just now as my cousins were asking me to come along and then Annette wanted to pay for the badge fees. So, okaylah… I drove my Rush to the church, tagged Sasha along as there’s a place which looks really spooky… The villagers said there’s this Ms. Rebonding bah kunun. Didn’t get out of the car as I wasn’t feeling quite well as I haven’t eaten for a whole day. Just some glasses of water and soy bean. Didn’t have the mood as I was still thinking about the problem. So, while I was waiting for the kids (and was waiting for Uncle Henry also) I thought that I should share with someone (other than my mum or aunt), at least be willing to share his/her opinion. I don’t really mind if he/she listens to my craps but I would really appreciate if he/she can share opinion or suggestion. I’m trying hard to motivate myself – THINK POSITIVE.

So, I dialed the number (was hoping that I wasn’t disturbing). Wallla! Chatted for about half an hour and I finally feel like my burden is lifted up. The feeling is lightened up a bit. Thanks, buddy! You’re really a good at giving advice. Nearly forgot yang God masih ada. Nantilah sia treats ko gula-gula tungtung. Hahahahhaa~ If ko minta kirim ole-ole pun, dalam otak sia Nike cap saja sebab memang itu aim sia juga mo collect Nike cap…
