Giveaway: Tony Moly Floria Whitening Travel Kit

Tony Moly has always been one of my favourite skincare products as it always ensure my skin absorbs the nutrients that it needs. Moreover, my fellow Korean friends (Ji-Won & Da-Som) always recommend me to buy Tony Moly because they're also using it. LOL! So, recently, my friends tagged me to join a Tony Moly's giveaway, and the prize is TM Floria Whitening Travel Kit for six (6) lucky winners. I really love to win this for myself (after I asked my Korean friends more details on this whitening set).

5 Reasons Why I Love Giveaways

The giveaway craze started off when I saw my former high school mates' posts on Facebook where they take photos of the things that they have won from some giveaway contests (they also got themselves freebies and samples from big big companies). I found it's pretty interesting that I asked them (Loretta, Nyet Sang, Julie G, Cherry Ting, etc) about it, and how can I get these freebies. The rest of the story? We end up tagging, and flooding our Facebook timeline with these giveaways, trying our lucks to win some of them. :)

Review: AC Beauty Lane @ Suria Sabah

I went to get my skin pampered at AC Beauty Lane last month. We set our appointment at AC Beauty Lane in Suria Sabah after Janet finished diagnosing my skin, and recommends me some of the products which I should be using. I was pretty surprised when Janet told me that I have a very dry skin. I thought I was having oily skin all this while! ;(

Rants: 5 Foods that I Cannot Live Without

Everyone loves foods because it is our primary source of nutrition, vitamins and minerals. So, I wonder what could be the foods that I cannot live without in Sabah, Malaysia. Most of them are high calories (and fibres). Who cares? They are way too hard to resist. *grin*

Mommy: Pregnancy Story 1

I have a few friends who are trying to get a lean body after they saw my fitness progress. Most of them are very surprised to know that I have a kid. Some of them asked me what types of workout that suit them especially when trying to get their pre-natal weight. I must say that different people have their own different 'style' and 'preference' to do workout. Some of us would go for Zumba, or Insanity workout. But as for me, I'd stick to something that's more on building muscles, and burning some fats (i.e. HIIT, TaeBo, etc).

Rants: Eat, Sleep and Breathe the Internet

When Abraham Maslow published a paper on the hierarchy of basic human needs in 1943, the theory only states four (4) needs that must be met before self-actualization can be achieved, i.e. psychological, safety, belonging, and self-esteem. However, considering with the current trends and technology advancement, Maslow's theory needs to be modified by including WiFi as part of human needs to complete the whole self-actualization.

Community: Help Pitas to Build Road

When there is a scarcity in the infrastructure, it means nearly all the rural population are forced to depend on their own subsistence farming for their own food and monetary income. Investment in development and maintenance road infrastructure would contribute towards trade development because road infrastructure opens up unconnected regions to trade and investment. Not only it would improve access to goods, services and employment opportunities, but also leads to sustainable growth and development of the economy which arises due to the multiplier effects of government spending on infrastructure in the economy.

I Wish I'd Said That!

Sometimes I get frustrated as I look at my Facebook timeline. People complaining, insulting, arguing, and keep on re-posting sensitive issues over the Facebook. I would love to see a positive one - with encouraging, and inspiring ones - Enough to make me think that the day is just another challenging phase of life. Rather than wasting my time on Facebook, I'd rather read blogs written by people who share beautiful pictures, sayings, stories, or even ideas with anyone who's willing to look. I believe that they wanted to keep an archive of everything that is important to them - What they believe in, who they believe in, and basically the things that make them feel alive.
