What is Insomnia?

Insomnia is a 2002 American remake of a 1997 Norwegian film about a police officer investigating a murder above the Arctic Circle and suffering insomnia due to the midnight sun and his guilt over past and present misdeeds. The film was directed by Christopher Nolan and starred Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hilary Swank.

Insomniac is the fourth studio album from the punk rock band Green Day. It was released in 1995 on the Reprise Records label. Insomniacs typically complain of being unable to close their eyes or “rest their mind” for more than a few minutes at a time. Both organic and nonorganic insomnia constitute a sleep disorder. It can be caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression, bipolar disorder, emotional or mental tension, work problems, financial stress, unsatisfactory sex life and sometimes occurs for no apparent reason. An overactive mind or physical pain may also be causes. Finding the underlying cause of insomnia is usually necessary to cure it. Eleven People on A Rope

Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter. There were 10 men & 1 woman which have been saved from flood. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all. So, they decided to that 1 of them had to leave. If not, they all will going to fall. 

Because of the situation, they weren't able to choose that person, until the woman gave a very touching speech…..

I’d personally say that love alone is NOT enought in a relationship. WHY? The reason is love requires SUPPORT e.g. commitment, trust, respect, understanding, thoughtfulness, and of course the things that support us to live – MONEY. I don’t mean that love is a lust of money (get a rich person to love). As long as we have money to support our basic needs e.g. food, clothes, etc. I guess it’s more than enough. Love is not a mere feeling because I believe that love is a feeling that can vanish anytime if we have no commitment of keeping it burning. It is akin to a person who is clever but has no commitment of going to school. If I want LOVE, I’ll ensure it will keep on burning all the time… Enough to lit up the life – Yang penting tidak padam. Besides, RESPECT plays an important role between 2 parties – How can a LOVE lasts if there’s no respect? Paling-paling hatred saja tu nanti. TRUST – Trust the one that you LOVE. Tapi, susah juga mo cakap kan? Sebab kadang-kala kita TRUST tapi turus kena betray. Some people bilang follow your INSTINCT, believe it kunun. Frankly speaking, sometimes I do follow my instinct and found out that sometimes itu instinct sia inda ngam. Mo kena tiun tiun… Hahhahaha~ I guess itu saja sia bulih cakap sebab itu saja yang sia rasa… Yang penting LOVE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH IN A RELATIONSHIP!

Cerita 3 Dokter

Pada zaman dahulu kala, ada 3 orang dokter.

Mereka selalu bersama ke mana saja mereka pergi. Tapi ketiga2nya memiliki kegemaran berlainan.

A – dr. Jon Poni (suka main perempuan).

B – dr. Jon Joni (suka minum minuman keras).

C – dr. Jon Doni (suka segala jenis rokok) .

Suatu hari ketiga sahabat ini berjalan jalan tanpa tujuan. Tiba2 ketiganya bertemu dengan sebuah ketel/kendi (seperti cerita Aladin). Lalu salah seorang mengambilnya lalu meng-gosok2kan ketel tersebut. Sejurus kemudian asap keluar dari corong ketel tersebut dan secara perlahan berganti menjadi satu makluk yang menyeramkan yakni seekor/seorang (?) jin yang ganas.Lalu jin tersebut tertawa: “Ha ha ha ..” dan berkata”Akulah Jin Ifrit !

Karena kamu telah membebaskan aku dari ketel itu maka aku akan tunaikan apa saja permintaan kamu sekalian!!” Ketiga sahabat yang pada mulanya panik dan takut menjadi gembira lalu termenung dan berpikir tentang peluang dan kemauan masing2 yang mungkin sekali dalam seumur hidup. Lalu mereka memilih kemauan mengikuti kegemaran masing2.

Berkata si A,”Aku mau perempuan2 muda dari berbagai bangsa di seluruh dunia dan letakkan dalam sebuah gua tertutup dan jangan ganggu aku selama 10 tahun.” Pufff!! Dengan sekejap mata jin itu menyempurnakan permintaan si A.

Berkata si B,”Aku mau semua jenis arak dari seluruh dunia untuk bekal selama sepuluh tahun dan letakkan dalam sebuah gua tertutup dan jangan ganggu aku selama 10 tahun.” Pufff!! Dengan sekejap mata jin itu menyempurnakan permintaan si B.

Berkata pula si C,”Aku mau semua jenis rokok dari seluruh dunia untuk bekal selama sepuluh tahun dan letakkan dalam sebuah gua tertutup dan jangan ganggu aku selama 10 tahun.” Pufff !! dengan sekejap mata jin itu menyempurnakan permintaan si C.

Setelah genap 10 tahun, maka jin tersebut muncul kembali untuk membuka pintu gua masing2 sebagaimana yang dijanjikan. Maka jin tersebut pergi membuka pintu gua si A, ketika dibuka maka keluarlah si A dengan keadaan kurus kering, berdiri pun tidak bisa karena tidak sanggup untuk menggerakkan lutut sebab hari2 hanya memuaskan nafsu dengan perempuan.Tiba2 si A pun jatuh ke tanah lalu mati!!

Setelah itu jin tersebut pergi ke gua si B, ketika pintu dibuka maka keluarlah si B dengan perut yang sangat buncit karena hari2 mabuk2an. Jalan pun ter-huyung2. Tiba2 si B pun jatuh ketanah lalu mati!!

Setelah itu jin pergi ke gua si C dan membuka pintu gua. Tiba2 si C keluar dalam keadaan sehat walafiat dan terus MENAMPAR si jin. Sambil memaki2 si jin ia berkata :

JIN GOOOOOBLOOOKK …!!!! lighter nye MANAAAAAAAAA ….???!!!

I came to you the hour I was in pain

Looking for answers, I cried to you in vain.

I shared the many skeletons hiding in my heart,

I knew then you’d be my friend,

Use as glue

TUHAN: Kamu memanggilKu ?
AKU: Memanggilmu? Tidak.. Ini siapa ya?
TUHAN: Ini TUHAN. Aku mendengar doamu. Jadi Aku ingin berbincang-bincang denganmu.
AKU: Ya, saya memang sering berdoa, hanya agar saya merasa lebih baik. Tapi sekarang saya sedang sibuk, sangat sibuk.
TUHAN: Sedang sibuk apa? Semut juga sibuk.
AKU: Nggak tau ya. Yang pasti saya tidak punya waktu luang sedikitpun.Hidupjadi seperti diburu-buru. Setiap waktu telah menjadi waktu sibuk.
TUHAN: Benar sekali. Aktifitas memberimu kesibukan. Tapi Produktifitas memberimu hasil. Aktifitas memakan waktu, Produktifitas membebaskan waktu.
AKU: Saya mengerti itu. Tapi saya tetap tidak dapat menghidarinya. Sebenarnya, saya tidak mengharapkan Tuhan mengajakku chatting seperti ini.
TUHAN : Aku ingin memecahkan masalahmu dengan waktu, dengan memberimu beberapa petunjuk. Di era internet ini, Aku ingin menggunakan medium yang lebih nyaman untukmu daripada mimpi, misalnya.
AKU: OKE, sekarang beritahu saya, mengapa hidup jadi begitu rumit?
TUHAN : Berhentilah menganalisa hidup. Jalani saja. Analisa-lah yang membuatnya jadi rumit.
AKU: Kalau begitu mengapa kami manusia tidak pernah merasa senang?
TUHAN: Hari ini adalah hari esok yang kamu khawatirkan kemarin. Kamu merasa khawatir karena kamu menganalisa. Merasa khawatir menjadi kebiasaanmu. Karena itulah kamu tidak pernah merasa senang.
AKU: Tapi bagaimana mungkin kita tidak khawatir jika ada begitu banyak ketidakpastian.
TUHAN: Ketidakpastian itu tidak bisa dihindari. Tapi kekhawatiran adalah sebuah pilihan.
AKU: Tapi, begitu banyak rasa sakit karena ketidakpastian.
TUHAN: Rasa Sakit tidak bisa dihindari, tetapi Penderitaan adalah sebuah pilihan.
AKU: Jika Penderitaan itu pilihan, mengapa orang baik selalu menderita?
TUHAN: Intan tidak dapat diasah tanpa gesekan. Emas tidak dapat dimurnikan tanpa api. Orang baik melewati rintangan, tanpa menderita. Dengan pengalaman itu, hidup mereka menjadi lebih baik bukan sebaliknya.
AKU: Maksudnya pengalaman pahit itu berguna?
TUHAN: Ya. Dari segala sisi, pengalaman adalah guru yang keras. Guru pengalaman memberi ujian dulu, baru pemahamannya.
AKU: Tetapi, mengapa kami harus melalui semua ujian itu? Mengapa kami tidak dapat hidup bebas dari masalah?
TUHAN: Masalah adalah Rintangan yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan mental (Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance Mental Strength). Kekuatan dari dalam diri bisa keluar dari perjuangan dan rintangan, bukan dari berleha-leha.
AKU: Sejujurnya ditengah segala persoalan ini, kami tidak tahu kemana harus melangkah…
TUHAN: Jika kamu melihat keluar, maka kamu tidak akan tahu kemana kamu melangkah. Lihatlah ke dalam. Melihat keluar, kamu bermimpi. Melihat ke dalam, kamu terjaga. Mata memberimu penglihatan. Hati memberimu arah.
AKU: Kadang-kadang ketidakberhasilan membuatku menderita. Apa yang dapat saya lakukan?
